I wish I still had my ‘83. This one is a little spooky, but I have a 4000Q and enough spares to go a ways on this. There’s nothing like K-jet that’s been sitting, that could get expensive if it were to stay stock, but I’d just call 034 Motorsport & do standalone if it wasn’t going to be smogged. Could be a deal for somebody if it stays under $4k.

The drivetrain is the least of the worries, it’s really strong. For an engine, I know where my old WX 10V turbo is sitting, my car got a 20V swap after I sold it...

Sold! And I’ll take that spare 4000Q and give it a good rally home. I would even swap in a 7A like in my old CQ because I like the sound, labor over an itb setup and use it for hillclimbs.
